Youth Speak

Essence of being Youth inside the Church of God

The mere fact that we were created, we must understand that there is a purpose. We didn’t simply exist without a reason; so much more when we were called into the church. Not all people have this great opportunity, making us blessed. With this blessing, comes great responsibility…

We cannot deny the fact that we were chosen, gathered into a group of people with common goals. It is not by accident that we are together now. Instead, it is God’s will… As members of the youth for Christ, we have obligations to fulfill, not only inside the church, but also for those outside of it.

Together with the youth in the church, we must be supportive of all activities concerning our faith and to help bring back and give hope to our fellow youth brethren whose warmth and first love is waning.

Our goal is to reach perfection; to be just before the sight of the Lord. As we go on the journey, there are many struggles and sacrifices. We must look after each other, not letting anyone fall down along the way. To endure is difficult and indeed tiring; but this is necessary to achieve salvation. Our aim is to keep our bonds strong and indestructible, no matter how tough the fight may be. We must not let our enemies prevail against us and hinder us from doing our duties, with God’s help.

We must all help to spread the Good News of God for the sake of many souls in search of the truth. We have a commandment to obey: to tell the world what we received. Let us have a part in fulfilling the prophecy regarding the nation of God. As it is written, “Their children also shall be as aforetime…”

As Christians, we have a very important role in God’s work of salvation. Let us consume the strength and energy given us and make the world understand that there is God, the only hope of men…

And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
- Jeremiah 30:19-20
